About Me

"Dreams Are Essential," is the feature length documentary by independent filmmaker Chris Harris about four up and coming bands - De Capulet, Dear And The Headlights, Goodbye Tomorrow and Peachcake. The film is an in-depth examination of their hopes, dreams and fears as they take large steps towards making music their career. The film also features interviews with countless other bands such as - Jimmy Eat World, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Greeley Estates, The Gin Blossoms, The Stiletto Formal, Alcoholiday, Addie, Matthew Gilbert and many more.All profits from this film will be donated to a special fund of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. This fund was set up in order to give underprivelged kids a chance to buy their first musical instrument and recieve their first music lesson.
