Born in raised in Philly, PA. Known to many in the Philly area and abroad as KooL'Est! Up until recent years took on the righteous attribute as Wise and think flip that to WiseMatic. Started DJing in Philly in the early 80's with WDAS' 105.3 FM's Andre the Giant. Got my rep from doing block parties, college, houseparties, proms, sweet sixteen, and weddings. Move thru the ranks of the streets by performing at various talent shows and doing cameo appearances on Krush Raps a video show hosted by Mike Elliott and co-hostd by Troy and Quan. Krush Raps show lead to my infamous saying, "you stepping on my foot". You had to see the skit to understand. Anyone out there have that footage on vhs. Then took my skillz to the stage with the rap group the Devine Beings. We did shows with the "Roots" who were Square Roots (what up Tariq and ?Love), Krs One, The B.O.C., Ice Cube, and Lyrical Terrorists. I was also afforded the opportunity to be the house DJ at Night on Broadway (Philly) it's currently a gentlemen's venue, Morgan's nightclub (Philly), Rhythm's (Philly), and Juste Lounge (Washington DC). Did the college circuit in the Tri state Area spinning a UPenn, Drexel, Cheyney, U. Delaware, Temple, Lincoln, Swarthmore, and many more. I also hosted Video to Vision (VTV) for several years in the Philly metro area. That was one of the hottest times of my career in the music biz because I had the opporunity to interview some of the giants in the music business such as: Jay Z, Dame Dash, Destiny's Child, DMX, Redman and many more.
