Musical History
I have always been very musical in my life. I took piano lessons and dance lessons and was a part of the school band and choir. I started rapping in 2003 when I was 12, initially to express my anger. My first song was called "Vernon Sucks", a diss track about my English teacher. Shortly after, I started writing many songs about school, girls, my life, and music itself. It was common to see me in my room sitting there with a beat in the background and a notebook. There have been points in my life that were rough. I found it easier to think about my problems while rapping about them. I noticed that by expressing my feelings I was neglecting them. Music helped me cope with many of my negativities. I frequently rap about the past and how it affects my life. I also rap about my present, my plans for the future, and the occasional battle/diss track. I've always expressed how I feel, so you may see me making the real grimey and hardcore to the feel good positive vibe songs. Many of the stuff I create is not recorded. I am going through many different phases in rap. If you're a musician, you notice you're improving every time you pic up the microphone.

In early 2006, my friends and I took part in a talent show at my school. I found a reggae beat and we each wrote and performed a verse in front of everybody. We won 1st place for entertainment and let everyone know we had something to say. I also performed at River Rhymes, a workshop to empower youth through music. I presented a freestyle I wrote before in front of a crowd of around 200. I haven't performed in around a year because I've remained underground, perfecting my skills. By doing this I have improved greatly. I also have many plans for future performances.
