About Me
I was born on October 25th 1984 in Paris (20e Arrondissement), France. I lived in La Celle Saint Cloud (78) until i was 18, then I moved to Douarnenez-Tréboul (29) in Brittany which is the best place in the whole world, I tried to find a better place but it's impossible. The thing I prefer in life is to travel, to see new horizons, meet new people, experience new things, see beautiful landscapes and go to as many countries as possible.I started to travel very young with my aunt, going to Greece and USA. Then I started to travel as an exchange student. First at the age of 14 in Canada, Mississauga, Ontario where I stayed with the best host family ever. After 3 month there, I went back to France but returned there twice afterwards. When I was 16 I decided to go for a year in Japan. I spent that year in Toyohashi, Aichi-Ken. I didn't know any words at first, but it was a very interesting experience.Today I am in Portland, Maine, USA for a year, studying at the University of Southern Maine. This is my last experience as an exchange student, but not my last travel.I went to Thailand in summer 2004 with my faithful Lonely Planet and a backpack. It was a lot of fun, for the first time I was completly on my own and I actually felt the full impact of the word: Freedom. Not knowing where you're going to sleep, or eat, or what will you do the next day is a very thrilling experience indeed. I enjoyed there some hiking in the jungle which includes elephant riding and bamboo-rafting. I then went south for relaxing beaches, snorkeling and the famous Full Moon Party in Koh Phan GanIn 2005, I decided to visit China, a fascinating country but not as ready as Thailand for tourism yet. It's indeed an exhausting country for the average tourist like myself, but it's really worth the trip, especially for the Great Wall, one of the most impressive thing I've ever seen.So you get the idea, I try to move around as much as possible, (I actually went back to Japan in 2003 for a month in Tokyo, and also visited a friend in Barcelona last year), but I always come back to Tréboul. As I've said this is for me, of all these places, the best in the world. The place where I had the most fun in my life and met wonderful people. But I'll keep looking around the world for another paradise.
