Young Mell is a up and coming artist, producer, and songwriter, who set his heart on music at a young age. Growing up in the inner streets of Baltimore City, Young Mell discovered his gift of rapping at 11years old and started off freestyling. Mell and his surrounding peers notice his growing talent after smashing multiple opponents in battles and building his name in the streets.
Young Mell is now a member of JOUK SQUAD along with other Baltimore City artist, such as Ckrisis (cousin), J-Brooks (cousin), and Q-Sleez (cousin).
Mell along with Ckrisis and Al Steed (producer), formed the up and coming lable BIRD CITY ENTERTAINMENT. This lable in 2007 alone produced 11 mixtapes.
