MATHEW YOUNGERS:
Mathew born at Treviglio in august 1985.
He made classical studies and studied piano and traditional authors for 4 years, from 9 to13 yo but at fourteen he met world of soul/funk/ jazz and began to produce hip hop oriented stuff with his personal computer and softwares. He got some important awards inside italian hip hop community (national contest and battles) until he was fascinated by house music.
Shortly after he began to study electronic producers such as the grandmasters of nineties (aphex twin, autechre, boards of canada, orbital..), and discover great band of '70,'80,'90 like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Low, Mogwai, and most of all Radiohead and Sigur Ros.
In 2006 founded Biokosmos Multimediarts, a multimedia office for graphic design, audio productions and labels connection.
From 2006 is also enrolled at N.A.B.A. Milano (New Academy of Fine Arts) in the class of Media Design/School of Direction.
In 2007 designed two Audiovisual performance near the center of Otolab (Milano) for national workshops.
In 2008 he directed his first short-film called "Sofia" (mentioned by the jury of "Città in Corto" in Rome) and selected from "RIFF" Awards 2009 (One of best Indipent Shortfilm Awards in Italy) and out in digital with remix of "The Phonograph vs Electro Nature - The dancer " on Tambour Records.
