Band Members: I am an urban artist and seasoned dj from the great metropolis of Chicago, Ill. I have been creative most of my adult life and collected records and djed since I was 13. For the past 10 years, djing has been my main gig. This myspace page showcases my lo-fi experimental home recordings. I have plans for dj mixes to be posted soon.
Before 1999, I used to mc/sing as well as play trombone and keys for a few local bands. We mainly played Hip-Hop/Funk/Ska/Punk/Soul/Rock sounds.

Boogie Shoes toured 200 shows a year from 1995-99 playing with bands such as: Fishbone, Blue Meanies, Outkast, Kid Rock, A Flock Of Seaguls, Liquid Soul, Little Blue Crunchy Things, Swimmer, Casius Clay, Ulele, Southern Culture On The Skids, Johnny Socko, SNOT, Citizen King, NIL8, Pshycodelic Zombiez, Cherry Poppin Daddies, The Urge, Rubber Room, Dj Jesse De La Pena, Wesley Willis, as well as many others. We released two albums, a ca-single, and a purple limited edition 12" record on Novo Records...When I played with Skapone, the band played with other Ska groups as: The Skatalites, The Special Beat, The Selector, The Toasters, The Pacers, MU330, Johnny Socko, Mustard Plug, and others...Anyone know what I'm talking about?!?
