My name is Bjørn Jacobsen, or in Hebrew Dov Ben-Yakov. I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, and i got a huge interest in the world of media by a very early age.
My mom and dad both shock their heaads when i as 12-13 year old kid decided to do music, but not the kind that they had expected...- electronic.
I usually listened to the kind of music that my friends did not listen too, even if i did listen to pop music or met with people who digged electronic stuff, i seemed to have a different interest than them.
I Spent most of my money on a music studio and started producing whatever i wanted, and to this day forward i still live from it and don't regret a thing.
In 2005 i joined a reality tv show in my country, and went away for about two months, to record the show.
It was a lot of fun, and the periods after the show was the most fun.... Going to the mall, and having people you don't even know, know your name and have them say hello and stuff. It's been quite fun, but still it was only another joke in my life, compared to the fun i get from producing electronic music.
The tv show expanded.. and i did the second season as well, as well as an all-star Survivor edition.
getting known was quite fun, but also weird, and having to deal with this has caused many a weird situation.
Music wise, i have released 3 albums, and approximately 20 single tracks, and i feel very priviledged to have done sone. and i believe that if anyone enjoys my work of art, it is because I have hit a certain emotion that they understand, as i cannot do music without having my emotions with me.
as os late 2007, i experienced more weird things in my life than i thought was possible.
everybody will probably experience this, but my life took a big change in 2007, and i had to realise a few things, and try them out the hard way. both emotionally and just regular life wise.
I now live in a great apartment in the center of Copenhagen, with a small garden and my two cats: Botox & Elton.
I feel very much like home here, and i do music here that i never wanted to do before, so the place inspires me a lot.. it's typically danish, cold in the winter, not too warm in the summer, but still with a great atmosphere and happy people basically all over the place.
