Well.....I'm Katy. For those who couldn't guess. :)
I'm 18, female, just trying to force my way through college and into the real world while maintaining a decent relationship with my family.
To talk about me, well, first off, you have to realize I'm quite a talker, and I can bullshit my way through almost anything, but this skill is mostly used on papers of the academic sort. ;)
I'm into many many things, and it all depends on how bored I am. I love DIY projects and home decorating. I like gardening....I'm very much into history and writing. Reading comes along with that, I suppose. :D I love the thrill of adventure, but also love coming back to my own comfy couch, snuggling up with my love, and just hanging out.
When I'm with friends, we're mostly hanging out or watching movies. My Portsmouth guys love trying to get me to play video games with them, and I think that disease is contagious...if my AC guys get ahold of me long enough, they're going to attempt it to, methinks. ;)
My plans? Well.....I'm going to major in History and Medical Laboratory Technology, provided I can get into the program. I'm also considering a minor in British Literature, considering I love reading and anything British. ;D After that, I'm thinking graduate school (somewhere along the West Coast would be wonderful, but I've got a year or so to really think about it) to get my PhD in History, teaching at a college somewhere. Why the Med. Lab. Tech.? So that way I have something to fall back on. Covering my bases, you know. :)
Well, last but certainly not least, I must tell you about one of the most important developments in my life.......I am happily taken by a certain Justin Beck. :) He, to be frank, makes my day better. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him, and quite frankly, I do see long-term potential. I know I want to be with him for a long time....he's quite simply amazing.
Honestly, I think I've gabbed on enough. :D So yeah. That's me, in a nutshell. Congrats, you've made it through my monologue. Hoping you weren't expecting anything, because I have nothing to give. Sorry. :( Struggling college student, you know.
