So, I was nearly born in Papua New Guinea back in July 1986 which now makes me 21 (Old Bastard), but luckily I got back into Melbourne town so I can proudly call it home, the best place to live in the world...this realisation occurs after you've had 54 beers whilst floating on a cruise down the Yarra River on a Thursday night with a great bunch of mates from school (Xavier boys), uni (ACU exercise science) & the cricket club (Banyule), ducking under 'the Balty' which is actually 50 stories above you, but managing to laugh & be idiots anyway.I love sport...footy and cricket predominantly, and I try to make a few runs over the summer and occasionally try to kick a few goals in winter down at Beverly Road, Banyule. I'm grouse at getting injured, one shoulder reco and another on the way, bad in a sense but it has helped facilitate my love for enjoying a few beers with my mates down at the pub, tapping into an occasional gaaaaaaaaame. My philosophy on always punting on 'black' got thrown out the window the other night as the 'cas' cleaned me up, number 28 didn't shine through either so I’m starting to reconsider another favorite number. I barrack for the Maggies, but the AFL and the hands in the back rule are giving me the shits at the moment so I’d much prefer to watch a bit of local football.I have a great girlfriend named Jessica, she is the best!I play the guitar, and over summer will be playing gigs on a Sunday avo/night at the Tower Hotel (686 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn East...good plug!) with my good mate Andy, who's a bloody gun and put's me to shame, although I do think we compliment each other quite well (since every standout has at least one lesser, aka, Robin Hood & Friar Tuck).Last year I worked at a sports academy in New York pretty much playing and coaching baseball everyday. After working I managed to travel through a fair chunk of the US with a group of poms and a safo. Best job and trip ever, I met some of the best people and I would definitely recommend a summer camp/exchange to everyone.Great trip, but I came back home with some 'friendly pectorals' (traveling with poms who shared my love for a BBQ and beer) which I get razzing for from my mates...but I do like to keep a tad fit so I’m currently in battle to loose them in at the gym.Spa sessions at Pigeons house with 'Grayza getting us a bevvie', water slides at MSAC on a Monday morning, $10 buck parma and pot night, summer down at the van in Ocean Grove, music, sports...and last but not least, my great mates and family are things that I love in life (ohhh).Cheers Ryan, Rinna, Mumbles, Spearment, Nudge
