Zhane’ Juniea, a New Orleans native, began performing at the age of three. She literally blew the audience away singing Celine Dion’s, Just Because You Love Me. At the age of 10, Zhane Juniea formed her own group, “Zealous,†that took New Orleans by storm. Her roots are in gospel and now at the age of 14, Zhane Juniea has been compared to artist such as, Yolanda Adams, Jill Scott, Mary J, Blige and India Arie. Like these artist Zhane Juniea continues to sing positive lyrics, rather it be Gospel or R&B.
Not only is Zhane Juniea a singer, she also is an actress who has appeared in various plays, and musicals, such as “Annie.†“Parkview Academy Goes To the Grammy’s,†and an upcoming play, “Once on this Island.â€.
Zhane Juniea was the youngest in the teen category to win first place at The Gospel Extravaganza Community Awards where she was voted favorite youth vocalist. And at the age of 11, Zhane Juniea performed at the McDonald’s Gospel Fest where she won first place in the teen category,
Presently this hard working young lady is in the studio putting the finishing touches on her soon to be released cd, with the first single, Cry No More . Although Zhane Juniea believes in hard work and finishing what she starts, she also finds time to just be a kid, rather it be going to the mall, being with her friends or playing with her siblings.
