Interview with SILENTX
Why the name SILENTX? Where did it come from?
A lot of people think that "SILENTX" is the man behind the music, "SILENTX" actually means “the unknown silent melodies of cosmic vibrational patterns". The name came from a scientific theory which suggests that the microscopic landscape is filled with tiny strings whose vibrational patterns create silent melodies that are unknown to us and orchestrate the evolution of the cosmos. Tell us about the man behind the scenes, the man behind SILENTX?
Even at early age, I was exploring the unknown, I describe myself as a lonely child who was always looking for answers in all aspects of life. I see that we are living on a spinning globe in the middle of a vast mysterious spiritual universe we don't understand and yet we know we're here to accomplish something, and I’m always in search for that something. Music found me long time ago and gave me answers to big questions I had, it guided me to take an ultimate journey through life.
Have you always felt yourself as a musician? Or wanted to be one?
I never felt myself as a musician neither thought I wanted to be one. I think music was looking for me, it found me and transformed me into a musician.
Did you have any musical education?
I didn’t have any musical education, I just listened to music a lot in different styles and genres, and tried to know how they were made. I used to be a big fan of hard rock and metal, I listened to Metallica, Nirvana, and Savatage. I also played flute for a while when I was a kid.
What drives you to make music?
Seeking adventure in exploring creativity, new sounds, melodies and atmospheres.
Who is your influence?
I'm inspired by Vangelis, Yanni, Kitaro, and alot of other great musicians. Their music inspires me and gives my creativity another dimension.
What is your definition of music?
I believe music is the language of spirits, it’s a language more powerful than words, it’s my voice when I can not talk.
How is music essential to us?
It is very important to us in all its forms, it comforts the heart and awakens the spirit, it is one of the wands the spirit uses to arouse consciousness.
In what genre does your music fall?
My music is hard to label as one specific genre. It can be described as a blend of instrumental, ambient, newage, darkwave, space music, and trance.
What is the purpose of project SILENTX?
SILENTX project translates the silent cosmic vibrational patterns into melodies that draw the listener closer to the nature of the universe and connect the human spirit with the universal harmonies.
