Known for his high-energy mixed sets, DJ Kike Rodriguez is breaking into the House music scene as one of the most energetic and promising acts in the local DJ circuit. As a child, Kike found a vivid and deep passion for music and its ability to move people. Listening to DJ mixes and electronic dance music since the early 90s inspired and fortified his belief that music would someday be more than just a hobby.Growing up in South Florida was a definite opportunity to learn the logistics of DJing by attending local underground parties and obsessing over numerous DJ mixed compilation CDs from great artists such as Christopher Lawrence, Richard Vission, DJ Dan, and Bad Boy Bill. While being influenced by a variety of genres like 80s Modern Rock, Rap, and Hip-Hop, Kike appreciated all styles of the electronica spectrum but found House music to be a more fine tuned fit for him.His influences are what now shape his unique blend of Funky, Techie, and Disco House music. As a DJ he simply wishes to accomplish what he believes should be the norm... to ignite an open floor with high-octane dance music and provide an avenue of enjoyment in our lives. Looking to expand more into the side of production, Kike continues to seek knowledge and plans to release original material in 2008
