About Me

Nancy and KayCee have put the Stanes on the backburner for a while as they have been extremely busy with their other band "The Kandy Apples"... The good news is that they're playing a come-back show Wed 14th November at The Sandringham Hotel! 8:30pm start... entry is only $8.They hope to see you then and serenade you with their songs, both new and old...

MIGHTY STANES - BROKEN DOWN:If part of body...
- Nancy: Skin between breasts. Hottest piece of real estate without waterfront views.
- Kaycee: The higher middle part of the rear glutemus maximus. (At least this is what people tell him)If food...
- Nancy: Cabbage roll. Pleasant and succulent to look at with a whole world of secrets to be revealed inside.
- Kaycee: Beef stroganoff with the beef contingent removed, leaving just milky red tomato paste, mushrooms and non al-dente spiral pasta. In other words, tight arse Tuesday's dinner menu.If a public holiday...
- Nancy: Mardi Gras. Although not a public holiday, if you were gay you'd probably think it should be too.
- Kaycee: New Years Day. Scattered, confused grouping, hopeful, defeated, hopeful again, asleep.Together Nancy and Kaycee create music that is both pleasing as it is unsettling and as bright as it is dark, with any other juxtapositions that comes to mind.

hiatus

Nancy and I are taking a little break from the Stanes to focus on the good ship Kandy Apple. I've been writing heaps of stuff and hopefully next time we play we'll be able to showcase the new material...

The new Stane
