I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi, I'm Amber. Every breath I take in this life belongs to my son, Hendrix, and my husband, Kyle, and his band, Southern Heretics. We just celebrated 12 years of marriage, all of them great. Me and Kyle are one of those freakish cases of people getting married really young and being truly happy. Oh yeah, I wasn't knocked up when I got married at 18, lol. James Hendrix Holman was born April 4, 2008. I cheated death to get him here and he has been the sunshine in my life everyday since then...I believe that you are only given a few good friends in a lifetime. I have been fortunate to have had a couple and then I met my third, Gari Dawn. She's the coolest chick I've ever met. It's still scarey to think that there is someone else out there that is so simailar to myself...I'm rarely in accord with convention. In other words, some people think I'm strange. That's ok because everyone is entitled to an opinion.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Of course I'd love to meet Zakk Wylde. That's still a possiblity in this lifetime. We have to wait untill the next life to meet our other brother, Dime. I have a theory that if everyone says that we're all going to Hell for listening to metal, then Dime and Randy are getting the party started right now. By the time we get there the beer will just be cold and the boys tuned up. There still isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about Dime. It's been four years, I've stood at his grave, and my mind knows he's gone. But my heart will never let him die...

Since I haven't posted a blog in 6 months.....

...I thought I'd let everyone know what the hell's been going on, lol. Reading the last blog I wrote was a little hard and seems like a million years ago. I'm so happy to be where I am now. First off,...

Just a few thoughts swirling around in my head tonight....

All of my family is out at Waurika Lake this Memorial Day weekend. Me and Kyle decided not to take our trailer out this time pretty much simply because I've been less than enthusiastic about going out...

6 Weeks Old...

It's kind of hard to believe it's been 6 weeks since Hendrix was born but time flies. I'm so much better of a place physically than I was at this time that day. Then I was in a morphine induced haze a...
