Barn's burnt down -- now I can see the moon

About Me

Righhht.
I've just finished my MSc in Environmental Technology and am standing on a metaphysical precipice staring out into an abyssal expanse of life choices. I have not been cowed into submission by indiscernible causality and sheer incalcuable potential. This time I have a plan and it's going to work!

Other than indulging in melodrama and future gazing I like to read Vedanta and other philosophy in general and do yoga - which I've been doing for the last three years. It's made a real difference to my life, and I think that I'm calmer and more collected, at least where some things are concerned.

I also like skating, playing the bass badly, spinning poi and flags, reading, going to the gym, live music, raving and doing some art from time to time.

Seek to know that by which knowing,
the nature of all things becomes known.
- Upanishads

My Interests

Yoga, Philosophy, Science, Agricultural Biodiversity / Development / Conservation / Permaculture, Skating, Bass guitar, Live Music, Poi and flags, Literature and Metaphysical Poetry, Drawing, Water colours and CG art.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a story to tell. People who question preconceived dogmas and dance on the illicit side of life. Also people engaged in self discovery, altruism, and people who's actions inspire me to strive harder. But really I don't mind who I meet, or what opinions you hold. After all, when everything's stripped away, we're all Brahman.
