I've been listening to NPR since I was 8 years old. My dad and stepmother met when they were arrested together protesting outside of the residence of the South African consulate. I am also queer as a three dollar bill, which was obvious to my parents when I started dressing myself at age 3. I used to write elaborate plays staring my siblings, with me in all supporting roles just so I had an excuse to wear lots of outfits.So I'm a flaboyantly gay socialist fashionista.
