TBMEC is a group of six very different and diverse individuals who are collectively dedicated to the perpetuation of art and original thought. It’s all about listening, about finding those sleepless night anxieties and rolling with them. Nietzsche philosophized that music is the pinnacle of emotional expression. This concept has been lost in the midst of a cookie-cutter money making machine of a music industry where emotionally legitimate music with any complexity means no guarantee of multi-million unit sales. TBMEC ascribes to the DIY methods of punk while artistically conducting a broad sweep of the musical landscape. One can expect to hear an aggressive hip-hop assault reminiscent of a nervous breakdown only to morph quickly into a reggae dirge. Sudden improvisations riddle sets making TBMEC an amoebic musical experience; constantly shifting and evolving. It’s all about expression. Violent convulsions of confused introspection.
