I am always reading several, BIBLE, The Heart of the Artist, The Belgariad, and anything by Terry Pratchett. As a teacher I often reading childrens literature, ie. "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Delightful, and educational for kids!Oooh and random cool archeology articles, especially related to Bible times. Life stories of missionaries - "Evidence not seen" was the latest, "God's Smuggler" another great one. "Three Martini Playdate" is my fav parenting book...hilarious and practical "I Married Adventure" by Luci Swindoll is the book i most recommend to all my girlfriends!
From the Bible: Daniel, Joshua, Nehemiah, Esther and Ruth:) and Jesus of course, but I most closely understand David, in the Psalms. From my life time: most any missionary i meet, many teachers, especially one dear college professor who lived the most abundant life I have ever seen despite his busy schedule as a teacher, the agonizing loss of his wife to a horrible disease, and his own losing battle with cancer.
