Born in 1948, Istanbul, Neset Ruacan started playing the guitar at the age of 10. After playing classical guitar , he switched to electric guitar in 60's. His interest in jazz guitar soon took over his career and later on he studied jazz theory at leading schools in England and USA. He performed with major artists all around the world and made hundreds of recordings as a studio guitarist and jazz musician. He joined the TRT big band in 1985 and since 1996 he is the principal conductor of the band.
