BIOGRAPHY

Producer J.D BEATZ was born in Truro, England in 1988. From an early age he grew up listening to various styles of music, his Dad was a drummer and had an extensive collection of vinyl LP's that J.D listened to every day. Absorbing influences from British bands such as The Beatles, Cream, The Sex Pistols and Led Zeppelin, whilst combining them with American artists such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Public Enemy.

"Since the day I was born I remember having a bright red record player, I just used to sit in my room all day listening to music from producers like Phil Spector and Quincy Jones. I just marvelled at the new sounds they used to create."

After finishing school he went on to take an English National Diploma in Music Industry, Technology, Performance, Theory and History. On the first day of college he was invited to play guitar for a new local band called Nato. The lineup was completed with his brother on Bass and after a year of songwriting they began to perform live. After just 6 months of touring they signed a Record deal with Rising Records.

J.D wrote and performed every song on the album, produced 2 songs on the album and he also designed the whole album artwork himself aged just 16. The album was released throughout the whole of the U.K, Europe and Japan. 2 singles were released getting airplay from the biggest radio stations in the world and music videos on MTV. All this whilst still in college.

After the band, J.D decided to follow his talent of producing. He has now moved from England to spend his time travelling around America and Canada to promote his music. Since then he has become one of the hottest young producers in the industry. Now specialising in Hip Hop, R&B and Pop he is looking for a fresh new record label to work with.

Still only aged 20, he has worked with artists such as Kaiser Soze, Jay Burna, Ben Jacobs, Raveon, Young Envy, Ariginal, Nicess, Darkside, Loustar, Lil Geechie, Soufside, Lil T, Young Chop, Calico Jonez, Solja, Darquan, Angha, Tneek, Gabz, Startah and more. He also has an upcoming mixtape titled "Underground Kingz" and soundtracks for Channel 4, BBC and Rockstar Games in the works.

J.D BEATZ has had interest from labels such as SosoDef, Atlantic, Interscope and Universal, but is yet to secure a deal. Feel free to contact J.D at any time.
