Dead Nephew

The embryo of Dead Nephew was brewed by Bored (Waklevören, Trashcan Darlings) back in 2002. The idea was to make music in the vein of Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and Spiritualized; floating and a bit spaced out. After four years and a Hell of a lot more beers he met Voldswagen (Lydia Laska, Mëkanïk, Dismal Euphony), who was into some of the same ideas. Voldswagen joined, and would intentially do the drums. But Einar "Esso" Sjursø (Virus, Beyond Dawn, Lamented Souls, Ved Buens Ende...) got to hear about the band -and like a kid in a candy store he started nagging drunkishly about doing the drums -So what could they do but to give him the drum stool and some sticks to play with? Don't expect another five year wait before you get to hear this. 2007 is the year of the Nephew.
