White & Sun

About Me

White & Sun formed in November 2006. Made up of Groove Sun (Vox/Guitar) and The White Dove (Guitars/Vox/Mandolin) with intention to write and perform a possibly one off gig at the The Queens Theatre in Hornchurch, Essex, The Gig is at 8pm on Monday 27th November.
Nadiah Scammell previews White & Sun in the Romford Recorder newspaper(24/11/06):
RAGMOP PAIR GO IT ALONE WITH ROCK AND REGGAE SET..............
Kickstarting the Unplugged session will be White and Sun, better known as David Woolf and Groove Sun of the recently disbanded Romford country blues group, Ragmop. Most of the vocals and guitar will be played by Groove Sun, with David on backing vocals and a variety of guitars and - true to Ragmop yee-har form - a mandolin. The duo have penned a few new songs and they will also be performing some reggae and rock covers. David said: "This will probably be a one-off gig but we might do something else in the future. It's just us having a bit of fun with the music."...
