Self-deprecating, cynical, sarcastic as well as idealistic, naive, and passionate. I like people that are real and honest to the core and can make me laugh. I like to listen and learn things about others. I appreciate those who genuinely listen back. I like people who challenge me in different ways, even if it can be frustrating sometimes. I like asking questions more than I like answering them. I find writing to be one of the most difficult tasks ever, and admire those who can do it with ease. I'm rarely competitive, but still manage to be a perfectionist. Things in life that I consider incredibly pleasing are fresh bouquets of flowers, my dad's laugh, sitting beside any body of water, sunday brunch with good friends, my mom's Filipino accent, and getting back into bed after a shower, especially on a cold winter morning.
