About Me
I was born April 21, 1980 in San Diego, California. When I was two years old my family and I moved to Burlington, WI. I've played football as far back as I can remember. My junior and senior year I was starting quarterback for my high school, The Burlington Demons. We didn't ever get a winning record, but I wouldn't change a thing. But I did make the All-Racine County Team:)
After high school I moved to Charleston, IL to play football for Eastern Illinois University. My sophomore year I ranked second in Division I-AA for passing efficiency. I completed 164 of 278 passes for 2,583 yards and 27 touchdowns. As a junior, I led Division I-AA in passing efficiency, completing 138 of 207 passes for 2,068 yards and 21 touchdowns. I was selected to the AP All-America third team, All-Ohio Valley Conference first team and the OVC Player of the Year. On December 19, 2002 I was the first player ever at EIU & The Ohio Valley Conference to win "The Walter Payton Award"
I attended the 2003 NFL Combine, but went undrafted. I was signed to the Dallas Cowboys, but didn't get a chance to start until my mid-fourth season. I've backed up quarterbacks like Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe. Ever since game 7 of the 2006 season I've been the go-to QB. We finished 9-7 my first season and came up short against Seattle in the playoffs. In 2007, we had an awsome year at 13-3. But once again missed our chance in the playoffs losing to the Super Bowl XLII Champion New York Giants. Right now we are fighting out the 2008 season. Things are about to change in Dallas. We've got a rough road to travel, but our game faces are on and we're ready to fight!
Outside of football, I like to golf. One of my personal goals is to make the cut at the US Open. I tried ro make the cut for the Byron Nelson in 2004 and US Open in 2004 & 2005, but unfortunatley I came up a little short. I think I'm an alright kinda guy! I'm a goof at times and I love to joke around with people!
