My family and friends are my bedrock! They come first in my life. I love spending quality time with them as much as possible. We laugh alot and that energizes me and keeps me going strong. God is always with me, really always has been through my son's cancer to the loss of his friends and many more things I have faced in my life. These days I try to have more moments of kindness in my day and choose happiness,positive attitude and outlook on everything I do no matter what comes my way. I feel if you can almost lose a child and survive then what else can break you? God has never given me more than I can bear.
I am on here to have some fun, be silly, meet all kinds of people..cause I LOVE people, and hope to talk to you all real soon..I enjoy taking care and loving my friends and family! I work HARD but like to play "HARDER"!I actually need to do a little more playing these days though.. I feel my heart is soft but my skin is thick.. It takes alot to get to me.I believe in being yourself cause there is no better substitute ;)MY wonderful husband and my boys are my top interests.
My youngest is in Seminary Bible college and my oldest has his own company "Image Sells" along with obtaining his Law degree. A parent couldn't be prouder than I am!!Yea, I'm a little sassy sometimes..so what?first and foremost in any relationship..be my friend and that's what you will get from me!!!I first and foremost like to study people..I can figure you out in the first 5 minutes of our meeting, if you are not real don't waste my time..I like people who are who they are UPFRONT..what a letdown later and a waste of my time which is valuable to me.People will see the REAL you eventually and hey I'm open-minded enough that I don't expect perfection..I embrace faults, they make us human and feel ya know? It also makes us much more interesting. Ok..off the soap box for now..interests..let's see..well.....
Hope to write a screenplay but want to finish my book first. Writing is a passion of mine. I've been trying to finish a book I have been working on for some time now.It may not ever get published but I want to complete it someday. I enjoy camping,fishing,the beach..pretty much anything that involves nature and being outdoors. I love spending time with family and friends especially my "sons" they are great!Here are some of the things in my life that give me the warm fuzzies..a glimpse of a hummingbird,the perfect fishing spot,fresh cut grass,lighting a candle after you just cleaned the house,the peace that only a mother knows when your kids are ok,the anticipation of seeing the ocean when you are almost there,sleeping in,no alarm clock,someone smiling and you caused it,a good hug,a great kiss,kisses on the neck,a weekend away,coming home,daddy laughing,laughing until you cry,waking up to rain hitting the window and realizing you can stay in bed,a hot bath and warm pjs to put on straight out of the dryer smelling fresh and warm,butterflies in the tummy,a raise,walking through the leaves,holding hands,the perfect gift,freshed washed hair,coke with extra ice,a good steak,a tan,a true friend,and...life.

Anyone nice and funny is a plus!Anyone NICE really..can't have too many friends right? It would be nice to meet some family that I have been trying to find for a long time. I really would like to meet honest,sweet,open-minded people who aren't afraid to be who they are and that can stimulate me to grow or at the least get me to think outside the box.Being funny is a plus.. I like to meet people of all ages and backgrounds.I THINK WE CAN ALL LEARN SOMETHING FROM EACH OTHER IF WE TRY!

I also like classic rock (mostly 70's).I can appreciate most any style of music because I know no matter what it is it has meaning to someone else out there and who am I to judge what moves another soul?

Mostly comedy and girly flics. I enjoy drama and mysteries once in a while too. SHHH...a little known secret of mine is I LOVE the Andy Griffith shows..this tends to get me laughed at.

Television:
Not too much on t.v. interests me right now. Usually when I watch I turn it on something meaningless just to zone out and not have to think too much.In order for me to watch anything it better get interesting within the first five minutes or I will be turning the channel.I do like the L word though and sometimes court t.v. Oh yea every now and then some gay porn...LOL
Books:
I like autobiographies and reading about different beliefs. I find other cultures interesting.I always enjoy reading old journals/diaries when I can find them. I like to put myself in someone else's shoes for that moment.

Heroes:
First of all my Daddy! He is paralyzed but trust me when I say don't let that fool you. He never has uttered the words "I can't". That has been an inspiration to me through everything I do. Every soilder fighting the war and those who have already given thier lives. Friends who have been there for the long haul. Most of all my sons, one who has overcome cancer and the aftermath of what that can bring and the other who has to daily deal with the stigma of living "who he is". I'm sooo.. proud of both of them and in mom's eyes they are my heroes.Special mention to all the nurses who care and love what they do.We are a special breed.
