I would say I'm a pretty simple person, don't like Drama, don't like conflicts, LOVE my family and friends, I love to go out and Dance the night away. I'm married to a man by the name of Christopher Silva; we have a BEAUTIFUL 5 year old girl Makayla Sierra. I work for a Mortgage Broker as a Processor…..and well…. I’ll just give you my life story.....ready? lol....
I am the youngest of 5. When I was a kid we lived in Hayward. I use to love school (at that time) and I had a lot of friends. I was into softball....obviously, being around my dad and two older brothers that were into sports….it kinda rubbed off on me. When I wasn’t playing softball, I was usually playing with my friends that lived in the same apartment building; roller skating at Valley Vista or listening to my stereo (New Kids on the Block baby!!) dancing around and acting like I was on the radio all the time….lol.
The day before my 12th birthday we moved out to Newark…I guess Hayward was getting to bad for my parents, they didn’t want to see me get into any trouble…..well little did they know what they were in for. :-P In Jr. High and High School I started to experience a lot of things, things that my parents would have killed me over if they knew back then. They thought I was out of control because I was dressing baggy….lol…I was in to boys, quit sports, started smoking, ran away, talked back, all that good stuff that we look back on and say “Damn I was a bratâ€. Eventually I grew out of that….a little.
After high school I tried doing the Collage thing but it just wasn’t me. I had a hard enough time staying focused in high school, so I just decided to start working.
I worked for a coffee shop in the mall Gloria Jeans….I loved that job. This is how I met my love Chris, through a friend of his that I worked with.
Even though I am married and have a child, I still try to live my life. I have always loved to be around my friends, go out dancing and basically always be on the go. I was 21 when I gave birth to Makayla so after I recovered, I was ready to party. I did exactly that. It didn’t help any that my brother and a friend of his, owned a night club…..lol. Yeah, that was the hot spot for all of us. Anyway, I was a little party animal for a while (well I still can be at times).... until something tragic happened.
May 25th 2002….a day I will never forget…..a boating accident that involved my brother and my cousin. This was a freak accident that should have never happened. Anyway, I don’t want to go into details, I will just tell you that Marcy has not been able to talk or walk since. I really miss her crazy ass.
This incident put me in a dark whole of depression for a while. At times I didn’t know how to go about my life; sometimes I would party so hard and forget all my worries…at other times I would shut everybody and everything out. It took a minute but I learned to appreciate life more. There are some things that I still take for granted unknowingly….but eventually, I realize what I am doing is wrong and I try to fix the damage I have caused.
My life style has calmed down a lot in the past years. Yet, I still love to go out and live my life. I continue to handle my shit and be responsible….when needed…. :-)
So if you see me out at the club…say what’s up and get your ass on the floor.
