They say life is a stage and we are all actors. If that’s true, then Rob Torres was born to act. This comes from a strong Puerto Rican background. Being raised in a small apartment as the twelfth of thirteen children in the south Bronx, Rob has learned to overcome adversity and as a result, has made himself successful. After graduating from the NY Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and a Master's degree in Communications, Rob is living his dream as a working actor. Like his father, Rob is a chip off the old block and a jack-of-all-trades. Besides acting, Rob is an aspiring screenwriter and stand up comedian. Rob uses his knowledge and experiences in his craft to move and captivate audiences. Rob’s movie credits include a principle role in Woody Allen's 'Celebrity,’ under 5 in ‘One Life to Life’ and ‘Conan O’Brian’ and John Turturro’s stunt double in ‘The Taking of Pelham1:23.’ One of his theater credits include the lead role in the Off Broadway play, 'Boxing 2000', directed by Richard Maxwell. In the world of stand up comedy, Rob has traveled all over the country and performed with some of the biggest names in comedy.
