The Blues Against Youth

The story so far...

The Blues Against Youth is the band your uncle has ever dreamed because they play Rock. The real one.
The project started in 2006 when two long-time friends decided to team up on purpose to drink beer and smoke joints while playing rock-blues tunes with a country southern white trash attitude. The rock duo consist of Gianni Serusi on acoustic guitar and vocals and Remo Fulgenzi on slide electric guitar, harp and backing vocals. They both have played in the hardcore-noise band The Orange Man Theory, toured the world and released some records. After The Orange Man Theory's South America Tour in summer 2006, Remo quit the band, and once have recorded the first The Blues Against Youth's promo, he moved to Valencia, Spain.
The definitive split After their first Italian Tour on April 2008, the band split due to personal and artistic problems and the two guys decided to keep up their project respectively alone. So, now there are two bands called The Blues Against Youth. Gianni became a one-man-band by adding some bass drum and hi-hat beats while Remo kept on reharsing on some blues scales in order to team up with someone else and keep up the project in Spain.

Contrary to those who think TBAY are cool and open-minded guys, their songs are just about man's weaknesses, smothering guns, desolated lands, racial segregation, blond chicks, incesticide, murders, alchool, weed, pornography, old society values, religion, pain in life and how to turn it into pleasure, rape, death, denied freedoms, people got fucked in prison, Ufos and a plenty of other things the band has been through and has put up with.
F**k young people with their trends and cutting-edge tastes. Deceive the trends and love the rules! Push The Blues Against Youth!
