James Connolly was an Irish revolutionary. Socialist, anarchist, union organizer, and leader in the Easter Uprising. I am making this space as a reminder to the world's Irish population of a part of their radical history. To be a Irish and right-wing, imperialist betrays those that fought for Ireland's freedom, and for the rights of Irish in the United States. To be Irish and racist betrays your ancestors, as we were not considered white upon arrival to the US, we were treated as slaves. The beginnings of racism as an idea were constructed with the Irish in mind. There was no potato famine, the English, believing the Irish to be less than human exported their food to feed the English army. Wake up Celts in Ireland and America, you have a mighty history, lets return to it! RISE UP! SOLIDARITY!
