the first concert i ever went to was huey lewis & the news at pine knob i was seven. it was me, my little sister nicole, my mom and her second husband dan. dan pulled out three tickets to get in, turned to me, and with a look of concern he said "oh no, emily... we've only got three tickets.. here's forty bucks, you're going to have to buy yours from a scalper..." my eyes went wide and glanced at the few there around us and just as i nearly accepted the fact he began laughing and said "ahahaha im only joking ahahaha" then awkwardly patted my head messing up my hair and continued walking.
