About Me

Chris began playing classical violin, and country fiddle at the age of nine in the Lawton Public School Orchestra, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He began in professional touring career at the age of fifteen with country and Grand ol' Opry Star, Vince Gill. Since then he has worked with: Toby Keith, Jack Ingram, Ricky Skaggs, Bryan White, Kitty Wells, Hank Thompson, Jason Boland, Pat Green, Willie Nelson, Johnny Gimble, Mark O'Conner, Emmylou Harris, John Hartford, Bill Monroe, Jim and Jessie and the Virginai Boys, J.D.Crowe and New South, Ralph Stanley, The Dillards, Nickle Creek, Gary Stewart, Marty Stewart, Beppe Gambette, Mason Williams, Dan Crary, the Reno Brothers, Jana Jay, Stuart Duncan, Jerry Douglas, Brent Mason, Paul Franklin, Redd Volkart, Asleep at the wheel, Dwight Yokum, Clint Black, Craig Morgan, Dierks Bentley, Ricky Medlock (Lynard Skynard), and many more. He also performed on Tim McGraw's 1999 "A Place in the Sun" album. Chris is an avid supporter of fellow musicians, wheither just begining, or seasoned professionals. He is always willing to lend his talents to charity, and understands the plights of the uninsured, and the disables, having been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus in 1997. He relocated to Austin, TX in May of 2000, and went to work full time for Texas singer/songwriter Kevin Fowler he toured approx. 200 days a years, played before over 50,000 fans at 2008 Houston Rodeo. In 2008, Began touring with Jarrod Birmingham after a short hiatus.
