Welcome to my little home in this vast universe we call the World Wide Web. I go by two names out here in the Cyber world Smitten_Kitten and Afraidiecat. A more dedicated “Ailurophile” you will never come across. AaaaHaaaaa you are reaching into the crevasses of your mind wondering if you have ever heard the term. Before you conjure some decadent idea up, and get weird ideas floating around your head an “Ailurophile” is a lover of cats to the point of obsession. That would be me to a tee. I LOVE all of my kitties. As you browse around “My Space” on the web, I hope you get to know me, Donnie and our fabulous feline family.If you have made it this far you have probably have been accosted by me and hee hee hee'd until you can't stand one more second of it. Meaning you have encountered me on My Space, ICQ, Yahoo, and have been exposed to endless chatter and giggles. I am 41 and live just off I80 in Pennsylvania. Yes that means I live in the boondocks and am about two and a half hours from the big city of Pittsburgh. I am married to a wonderful man, who indulges my cat obsession along with every other obession. His name is Don and he is the coolest “Cat” you will ever come across. He is a hardcore rough and tumble guy, but handles me with TLC. I have been asked countless times where the nicks Smitten_Kitten or Afraidiecat come from. Hee hee hee that is so easy. I am smitten with life, love and hopelessly devoted to my felines. I flourish in the outdoors loving all Gods creatures great and small. I am a hopeless romantic at heart and have a tendency to gather lost strays. Yes that means the two legged kind as well as those, which walk on all four. You can find me bouncing around online just about every free second I can get to the computer. I have been accused of being a “Polly Anna” when it comes to my outlook on life. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term a Polly Anna is a person regarded as being foolishly or blindly optimistic. I choose to take this as a compliment even though at times I know it has been said in a sarcastic manner. I can attribute my "Polly Anna" ways to my mom. She instilled in me at a young age that there was nothing that could stop me if I put my mind to it and no matter how bad life may seem right now it could always be worse. She truly was the one who knew how to make the best tasting lemonade out of a bunch of lemons!!! She has passed, and is missed dearly, but is alive in my heart and my thoughts every minute of every day. I miss you mom!Ok so you want more about me. Like this page, I am a work in progress. Always growing and always learning looking to the future and living life as fast as it comes. I am an avid reader and have been known to read three books at one time. I love mysteries and have read everything from the adventures of Midnight Louie, Miss Marple, Agatha, Stephanie Plum, Qwill, KoKo, and Yum Yum to Lawrence Sanders’s Archy McNally series. Begrudgingly I admit I have read sappy romances too, but tend to lean towards Nicholas Sparks, and Mitch Albom (Five People You Meet in Heaven may possibly be my favorite book).My Space is a work in progress and it is my hope to update often so come on back and visit again soon………… *Smooches*
