About Me

I am an active freelance harpsichordist based in Astoria, Queens; before that I spent time on Long Island, studying with Arthur Haas toward a DMA at SUNY Stony Brook, which I recieved in 2005. I also lived in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, where I studied with Kathy Perl and Laurette Goldberg. I received an MM at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a BFA at the California Institute of the Arts.
I play a wide range of solo and chamber repertoire, from Medieval to Baroque to Contemporary. I have revived both lesser known repertoire and presented a number of world premieres on both coasts, as well as commissioned new works for the harpsichord. My primary musical loves are 17th and 18th century French music, late Medieval keyboard music, and vocal music of all sorts. I am a seasoned accompanist, with an affinity for assisting in the vocal repertoire whether it be in the context of solo work, chamber music, oratorio or opera.
I perform regularly with the NY-based flute-harpsichord duo, Rossignol Amoureux, and have also appeared recently with the Neue Bach Band, The Greenwich Village Singers, and The Maria Antonia Project.
I have played at a variety of venues and series on both coasts: in California, I have appeared twice on the Chattanooga Chamber Series and three times on the Berkeley Festival Fringe Series. In the New York City metro area I have appeared on Trinity Church-Wall Street’s Concerts at One series, twice on Columbia University’s RABI Werner series, at SUNY Stony Brook, Waltz-Astoria, the Women’s Studio Center, and at Music Week at Mohonk Mountain House.
