My Interests

I'd like to meet:

12-10-06:
Hello again! A new blog has been released entitled "The Western Pilgrim". You can view this new piece of writing via MySpace or in the Library section of the website. We would love to hear your input, so if you would like to comment on the blog, feel free to do so through the MySpace link. Also, I would like to thank you all for your continued support. We have grown drastically in the past five days, and that is all because of you. Be on the lookout for new blogs, bulletins, and more in the up and coming days. Thanks again, and have a great day!

-Kalactus

12-5-06:
Welcome! The new site design is complete; I hope you all like it. The entire basis for the creation of this MySpace and correlating website can be described in two words: Knowledge and Community. Feel free to browse our site, as we hope to have much to offer for everyone. We are still in the starting phases, but our website (accessible via the image to the right) is up with all of our blogs, bulletins and more. We hope you enjoy your stay and help advance this community as well as your own. -Kalactus

Click the image above for all of our blogs and more in easy-to-read and convenient formats!

This site is here for you. It is here to connect us, to help us learn from each other, to help us understand and to love. It's about discovering yourself and your truths, and reflecting that on your life, community and world. Mostly, it's about acting; because actions will always speak louder than words. I hope if you take anything from this site, it is a desire to do something, no matter how small, to simply make people smile and show you care. Maybe you'll do something great (you've got the power, believe me), maybe you'll begin your own spiritual journey. I invite you all to share this with me - to inspire, create, transform and believe. vi veri universum vivus vici.

Sing, Laugh, Dance

It has been said that nothing is good in excess.  I would have to disagree.  You can never sing too much, laugh too much, or dance too much.  In fact, the majority of people don't do an...

Spirituality: What Connects Us

An essay addressing the use of Psychedelics

The use of psychedelics can be considered dangerous, of course.  It is dangerous because it forces you rethink, redefine, restate your beliefs.  The experience can shatter your entire concep...

An essay by Terence McKenna regarding tryptamines and concsiousness

There is a very circumscribed place in organic nature that has, I think, important implications for students of human nature. I refer to the tryptophan-derived hallucinogens dimethyltryptamine (DMT), ...
