Poet & Activist HIPPIE RICK
is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Having written his first poem in 1994, he has since gained recognition and a variety of publishing credits, including MAP of Austin Poetry, Expressions Journal, Sun-Optikos, The Poets' Monday Anthology and others. He has made feature and open mike appearances across America on stage, radio and television.
In 2001 he relocated to TX from the Midwest, reuniting and spending time with his daughter Tami. In 2003 he moved to the hills in Southeastern Tennessee where he spent much of his time in political activism. In 2005 he went back to TX to finish a few projects and spend more time with his daughter. He's now Back in his home state of Wisconsin.
