I Frittomisto nascono nel '95 nella taverna/lavanderia di Ste. Attorno alla sua batteria si riuniscono il basso di Ema, l'elettrica di Massi e la voce di Chiara. Con questa formazione vincono il concorso studentesco "Pagella Rock '97" Milano, che li porta a suonare a Cascina Monluè, Piazza Duomo a Milano e al Salone della Musica di Torino con Morgan dei Bluvertigo.Continuano le loro esibizioni facendo da spalla a gruppi come Reggae National Ticket, Bluvertigo, Fratelli di Soledad, Ganjamama ed E.V.A. Prima dell'avvento dell'euro autoproducono il cd «Menuturistico Diecimila» con cui vincono Scorribande area Ovest Milano nel 2001 e si esibiscono al Rolling Stone di Milano.Nel 2005 arriva Andrea alla voce con il quale inizia un periodo di revisione dei pezzi e delle melodie in chiave maschile e la produzione di nuovi brani. Dopo alcuni concerti alla Festa dell'Unità di Peschiera Borromeo e al Barrio's Cafè di Milano, producono un nuovo demo nel 2006, per iniziare una nuova stagione di concorsi e concerti.Il nome Frittomisto esprime la volontà di raccogliere le influenze e gli apporti di ciascuno per creare una miscela rock, contaminata da blues, reggae e funk.

The band Frittomisto (literally: a fried mix) was born in Ste’s family basement/ laundry room. Surrounding his drum set you would find Ema on the bass, Massi on the electric guitar and Chiara as the lead singer. With this formation, Frittomisto won the student music competition “Pagella Rock ‘97” Milan, which gave them the opportunity to play at Cascina Monluè, Piazza Duomo in Milan and at Salone della Musica in Turin with Morgan from the group Bluvertigo. They continued their small tour opening up for bands like Reggae National Ticket, Bluvertigo, Fratelli di Soledad, Ganjamama and E.V.A. Before the historic introduction of the Euro, Frittomisto launched their first Cd “Menuturistico Diecimila” (literally: Tourist Menu Ten Thousand) with which they won the competition Scorribande in the western part of Milan. As a result, they were invited to play in Milan at one of the most well known concert halls for hosting underground and alternative music, the Rolling Stone. In 2005, the band underwent a period of revision due to the arrival of the new lead singer Andrea. Many parts of the songs from the first album were revised to incorporate a male harmony and later on the production of new singles. In 2006, after a few concerts at the Festa dell’Unità of Peschiera Borromeo and at Barrio’s Cafè of Milan, Frittomisto produced a new demo album to open up a new season of concerts and amateur competitions. The band name Frittomisto expresses the desire to gather different musical persuasions and contributions of anyone and everyone with the goal of creating a new fusion rock – contaminated by blues, reggae and funk.
