About Me

I am 24 years old from Dayton, OH. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters degree in Social Work. I love being involved in recreational activities, especially racquetball. Some people out there think they can beat me but can't!!! I enjoy having a good laugh and spending time with people who I love and care about. I find pleasure in the small things in life and am learning day by day to be thankful for the opportunites that I have to make my life better and to have a positive impact in the lives of others. I am very ambitious and have many BIG dreams and goals for my future. I'm not a person who is content with the status quo, but am always seeking out new ways of growing and learning.

My Interests

Like most females I love to shop! I'm not a really big reader but I do like to read a good book from time to time. I also like scrapbooking and doing hair in my spare time. Any one wanting to get a sew in weave I charge $60.00 and $50.00 for repeat customers!

Music:

I like listening to all types of music. My favorite is R&B, especially from the 80's and 90's. But I listen to Country, Rock-n-Roll, Jazz, and Light Rock. Heavy Metal and Rap, not so much!

Movies:

My all time favorite movie is The Color Purple. I loved I am Sam, School Dayz, The Wedding Planner, and Love Jones. I don't really do scary movies though.

Television:

This is my favorite past-time! I'm always watching HG-TV, Law and Order,Jeopordy- I've probably won about a half a mil! I like watching Judging Amy when it comes on, Re-runs of The Cosby Show, and American's Funniest Home Videos

Books:

The best two books that I have read were Mama by Terry McMillian and The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah. The most recent books I have read are The Fish Philosphy and the 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People.

Heroes:

My hero, is anyone who can wake up early in the morning....Everyday!! Cause I've never been able to do it! Seriously,though my mother for her resiliency and wisdom that has helped guide my life. I also admire Oprah Winfery for being such a philanthropist, for her giving spirit, as well as her passion and compassion for the human condition
