Opium Dream Estate (O.D.E.) is a French musical project, founded in November 2006 by singer/multi-instrumentalist Sébastyén D. (ex Orchid's Children, also involved in Entwined Alchemy, Lyan and Roses In Bedlam - managing Seventh Crow Records). In March 2008, Lélia , a French artist from Nantes, became Opium Dream Estate's official artworker.
Though Opium Dream Estate's sound is rather difficult to describe for it is filled with many different influences, it can be identifiable as ethereal, influenced by bands and artists such as the Cure, Vast, Mors Syphilitica, Arcana, Faith & the Muse, Chopin, Satie and others... inspired by literature and Art... Hence, Opium Dream Estate appears as musical, ethereal and artistic representation of Sébastyén D.'s world(s) : death, love, dreams, madness, darkness, haunting memories, art, romanticism, mystery, nature, depair, pain, loss, etc
Opium Dream Estate released a first EP, Alpha Omega, in december 2007 and a second one, Spira Spiritum Noctis, in august 2008... and is currently working on O.D.E.'s new LP.
