Born and raised in Hollywood CA, Don Mel-O (Born: Ikechukwu [Ee-kay-chook-Woo] Anthony Davis) sometimes called ME-LO has worked with many artists over the years, Beginning at the early age of 13 years old Mel-O felt a vibe from music that nothing else had made him feel. Starting out just writing verses then picked up production. Making beats almost seemed natural but still worked hard to shine with this talent, and is still working to perfect it to this day. In his high school years he became open to all kinds of music. Alternative, Rock, and Heavy Metal became some of his favorite genres besides Hip Hop and R&B. Being so open to all kinds of music only broadens his horizon. This Producer/Songwriter Extraordinaire has not yet reached his peek in his career at his young age of 20.
