I was born and raised in Southern Illinois.  At the age of 17 I moved to St. Louis, MO to attend an all girls private business college and have basically been on my own ever since.  I am a mom to a 15 year old son who is my life.  He may be bigger than me but he knows who is boss. I found a man to love and marry me even with all my flaws.  We have been married seven years and have recently moved back to Mt. Vernon, IL. I recently received my Associates Degree in Medical Assisting but took some time off from the career I love to focus on my son and his grades.  I have one younger sister who is happily married back in Illinois with two terrefic kids.  Being a mom and an aunt are the two best jobs in the world and are worth so much more than any paycheck could be.  I am a very loyal friend and if you ask me to keep a secret, I will take it to my grave.  I am an independent, strong minded person who has learned a lot the hard way.  If you want to know anything else, please ask.  If I think you should know, I will tell you otherwise - it's none of your business. ..
