I’m a preschool music teacher, songwriter, violinist, dancer and huge fan of all the ARTS!! Each day is a gift from God so I believe we should make the most of each moment. Although we’re saved by faith, our faith should be evident in the way we live and in outreach. You’ll probably see bulletins from me from time to time on ways to serve in the local community :) It’s amazing what God can do when we step outside of ourselves and help meet someone elses need. Hmmm...what else do I love to do? I love kids, their enthusiasm, excitement for life and desire to learn so it’s a blessing to get to teach music. Love dogs too and good chocolate. Got spoiled growing up in London since we have GREAT chocolate in the UK!! Enjoy traveling, learning about other cultures, love to cook and am always ready to celebrate with good friends :) Would love to hear your original music, see original art pieces or hear about your ministry so give me a shout!! Influences: MUSICALLY - Wow, I have to try to be brief. Classical is always good - Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Bach, Elgar. Brilliant Violinists Farid Farjad and Itzak Perlman. The Beatles. Diana Krall. K.T Tunstall, Corinne Bailey Rae (Gotta love the British music scene). Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Pink (hilarious lyrics), Nichole Nordeman (inspiring lyrics). Bonnie Raitt. Natalie Grant. Joy Williams. Aretha Franklin. Sam Cooke. Billy Preston. Sade. My grandpa. Anything rhythmic with middeleastern drums, daf, tombak that just makes me want to move. SO many more....ART - Mahmoud Farshchian, Georgia O'keefe, Monet....LIFE - Mother Teresa for being an example of living your faith and being the hands and feet of Christ instead of simply using words. Anyone I've met who perseveres daily, has a good work ethic, knows people are what matters and makes the most of life. I'm blessed to know a good many like that :)
