Nicole de Zabala

Nicole was born in Caracas/Venezuela, where her parents lived for 23 jears. After 3 years in Caracas she moved to spain for 4 years and then she lived till 2002 in germany. in 2002 she decided to study trombone in the Netherland with Bart van Lier and Ilja Reijngoud. One reason to study in the Netherlands was the inspiration about the sound of Bart van Lier. First she was listening to classical an pop musik (what her parents liked to listen). Later in the time of studying the trombone she started to listen to jazz and latin music.
