Let's see...my name is Tahnee. I won't write out my whole name because it's way too long and I get tired of people trying to figure out how to say it. I'm Mexican/Hawaiian...exotic, I know. No, I can't dance the hula or anything like that. As far as culture goes, I'm pretty deprived so don't expect too much from me. And no, I can't speak Spanish. I never learned, and my desire to learn has slowly burned down to a little more than nonexistent. I don't have the patience for it. Actually, I don't have much patience for anything. I'm a military brat, born in Germany, raised in Texas but I've been blessed throughout my life so I haven't moved around half as much as other people do. I've been in beautiful San Anto for the last 12 years or so...I love it here. I can't imagine myself anywhere else but Texas. Yeah...I'm a Texas girl...get over it. I love hot weather...God didn't make this female to withstand low temperatures. I did some lifeguarding this summer and I loved it so maybe I'll do it again. I'm a senior in high school...class of '07 baby! I cannot wait until graduation. I'm literally counting down the days until my 18th birthday, that's another big thing. I just got my driver's license too. So everything's slowly falling into place. It's a little scary to think that by this time next year my life will be completely different but I'm definitely more excited than scared. I love fashion...if you look in my closet you'll know that. I have an obsession with clothes...I hardly ever leave the mall without buying a shirt or something. I have a tendency to overspend my money, so sometimes I have to force myself to put down the shirt or shoes or purse...etc. I'm not too much into shoes though. I pretty much wear sandals all year long unless I absolutely need to cover my feet. Actually, if it was up to me, I'd go barefoot all day long but you know...society norms and all that. I have the sweetest boyfriend in the whole world! I've known him since high school started so we both went through it together and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather share that experience with. Although there are other people who have come into my life and left their mark, he's always been one of those people that I know will remain in my life for a very long time. Jose...I can't imagine life without you anymore. I know there are days when you wanna knock me out and I wanna strangle you, but in the end we always find a way. That's become our mantra, hasn't it? "Don't worry, we'll find a way. We always do." I haven't once taken you for granted because I learned the hard way to always appreciate what you have. You're my best friend above anything else, and I would sacrifice a lot to keep that. Don't worry too much about things. God will find a way if we don't. To my other best friend VICTORIA (even though she don't even have a profile, I LOVE YOU!!! We've gone through so much since we first met in...uh...sixth or seventh grade...it's all a big blur to me now. Either way...we will stay in touch for the rest of our lives and you will be the godmother to my kids. YOU PROMISED!! BRANDON (who doesn't have a profile either...who cares...I'm emotional right now)...my favoritest white boy in the universe...since eighth grade you've been there. You're my comic relief for everything. Even though you can be the biggest smart ass on the face of this planet, you've always kept me grounded. You've never dwelled in anything that isn't reality, and I admire you for that. You know I'm here for you no matter what. EMILIO...what can I say? You've been there since grade school...and God willing you'll be there for the next 100 years. You're awesome. MY DIANA...(no profile), you're such a sweetheart. We've been each other's confidante for a number of things over the last year and a half. I can come to you about things no one else would understand. And even when you don't understand, you're good at pretending you do ;). STEFFEN...I feel so blessed to be able to say that I knew you. No one in this world will ever mean to me what you do. I learned so much from you, and I thank you for everything you ever taught me when we would spend hours in front of my house talking about everything under the sun.
