So, here's a quick little blurb about me. I'm 25. I graduated from KU in 2003 with a B.A. with Honors in Anthropology. My emphasis was in Archaeology, but KU doesn't offer a degree in Archaeology. I work at KU and have for the past 5 years. I bought a house last August and have been slowly getting it put together. In fact, I just had my open house in mid October. It's really cool to own my own place. I still giggle every time I pull into my driveway because I think that it's awesome that I have a house! Even more, I think it's awesome that I'm a single woman and I bought a house on my own. I've worked hard all of my life to get where I'm at. I've been financially independent since I was 16 and I put myself through school. It's been hard and I've struggled, but I'm surviving. I have a cat named Bella. She's a year and a half old and she's a terror and a riot. She's hilarious and I love her to death. I have two brothers - one older and one younger. I don't really have a relationship with my older brother and my younger brother is my best friend. We're only 13 months apart in age and have been inseparable since we were little. I've lived in Kansas all of my life. I was born in Liberal, then moved to Eudora, then to Topeka, then to Lawrence. I was born with Jayhawk blood and am a devout fan. I love KU and I love Lawrence. I am obsessed with music. It's my passion. I love concerts and I am a walking encyclopedia of music trivia. I am also the insane fan that sits outside till 2 in the morning just in the off chance I might get the opportunity to shake Billy Corgan's hand. (Which I did get to do!)
