well i'm a native Atlantan, local musician and i own a local harley shop so any body want to go for a ride sometime just let me know and let's do it.....hit meabout me Category: MySpacewell who am i, i'm a local musician and a local harley shop owner .. In 1987 i met up with a couple of guy's in cumming,ga through my girlfriend at the time , they were into the punk scene and of course were skater's . well they had been sitting in chuck's basement writing some tune's but diden't' have a bass player and /or a drummer .That's where came in..Chuck went to school with a guy from california who just moved here. Well he bought A bass and that was the birth of OCB. Chuck Clineff on guitar, Lawrence (larry) Wernik on bass Jimi Stringer on lung's and Dale (Taco) King running sound ,driving the bus and helping out with the fucking , we were about punk as punk get's as far as experience in playing . Not one of us knew one cover song and we diden't want to. None of us had ever been on stage either.So we started writing song's and before you know it we had enough song's for a one hour set. there was a club in our town called vision's but it was 21 and up well after haggling with the owner telling him he needed to do all age show's he gave it a try.it was a success ,kid's came from all over to the show's it used to be you had to go down town for an all age show. We started meeting band's from out of town like FUCT from Nasville and Compound Fracture from Birmingham and started touring the southeast. we got to open for all the nationals that came through Atlanta like The Circle Jerks ,The Accused , Fugazi and to many more to name, We had a good scene going on and a tight network of friend's from Tennesee and Alabama. That lasted until about 1991 or 92 when we broke up . Well me being a drummer i had to play and started looking for another band i didn't really want to start all over so i found a band all ready playing out . Taco said i needed to hook up with these guy's we had played with before with a kick ass guitar player and a smoking bass player and i actually got a call from the guitar player ,he wanted to meet with me i was stoked.i haden't had a chance to call them so they found me. that guitar player's name was Stacy Andersen and the band was called DIN with Michal Faulkner on bass ( now with Atlanta's own Artimus Pyldriver) i told them i would love to join this southern white trash heavy as fuck band. We opend for all the nationals that came through Atlanta too...you name them we opened for them. That lasted until about 1996 and for some reason we split up. Then i started playing with a biker band called J.B. Walker and the Cheap Whiskey Band. We did D.O.D. show's for the military and i got to see the world. We played Europe, bases in Bosnia , Kosovo,sarajevo ,icland ,Greenland,germany and many more we also played bike week in daytona two time's a year . We were a real working band that lasted untill about 2002 ,I had a beautiful baby girl named Famous and had had enough touring, now i'm back with JB WALKER currently playing in two different band's one called the Cosmic American's (cosmicamericans.com) and one called JB Walker and the Cheap Whiskey Band we play around the southeast doing bike events,private partie's and corporate gig's..
