MrK DJ

Marco Martina, aka MrK DJ, was born in Copertino, a little town in the south of Italy, on a sunny August’s day in 1988.
His passion for music is already evident in his childhood, when he starts buying some of the records of the most important artists of that time, the ones that have marked both the Italian and the international music history.
At the age of 15, as his strong passion for the djing, he buys some pc’s programs in order to mix music and he starts producing his first records listened by his friends… The djing is more than an hobby for him and finally, 2 years later, he buys is first real consolle and an amazing feeling with it is quickly established… In the meantime he begins producing his own music…He starts taking his first steps in the field of the music production, seen as a new world, rich of challenges. After a period of practice he begins making some remixes (the first for example “Mare (MrK DJ rmx) – Nilo”).
Of course it was only the beginning… Time passes and Marco become more and more able using the mixer and the sequencer; as a consequence of that he gets his first results: on October 10th one of his mixed sequences composed by 3 tracks is broadcasted on the national radio m2o (all the 3 tracks were sung by the actor/singer Will Smith). After only 2 months a new mixed sequence signed by MrK DJ is broadcasted on m2o’s weekly radio transmission [tracklist: Love Me Love Me (Dj Ross rmx) - Arsenium / 02) What You Waiting For - Luca Noise / 03) Come To Me - Rs DJ]. Other 2 sequences will be broadcasted by the same station [3rd tracklist: 01) I live on my own (Dj Ross Rmx) - Horizon 02) Carica Tremenda (Gigi Dag & DJ Pandolfi) / 03) Contaminando (Uomo Suono Trip - Orchestra Maldestra; the 4th : Ciao Sono Io - Sandro Bit / Hypnotic Tango - Master Blaster / Encanto (Spanglish Extended) - Danijay].
Marco makes great progresses even in what concerns the music production: during the summer ’06 always m2o broadcasts the remix "Le canzoni dell'estate (MrK DJ rmx) - Emi" in the dj Promiseland’s program "Chemical land". Again his remix "Experience"(MrK DJ rmx) - Danijay vs. Iacono" is on air on m2o (10 March 2007). In the following period Marco has developed his passion for music trying to improve constantly his own sound getting nearer and nearer to the electronic music…He joins several contests where he receives many compliments and finally he wins the contest called by “Starlight Music” with the remix "Stop loving You (MrK DJ rmx) - Parthyheadz" receiving as prize the possibility of remix an official piece that will be published soon, whose news are obviously top secret =D
The year 2007 ends in the best way for Marco: after having won the Starlight Music's contest, he comes first winning the contest organized by Danijay ( a famous italian dj known even in the rest of Europe) remixing Stay with me (MrK DJ rmix)...
This is MrK Dj’s history till now…all the rest has yet to come…
