Born with a passion for creating music, singing and sharing the joy of being alive with others, my life so far has been an ambrosia of experiences! I am drawn to the ocean like a mermaid, never tiring of the ebb and flow of the Pacific Ocean and the unspoiled Northwest coastline. I am sure that I have cellular memory from ancestors long past that nurture my intuition and curiosity for life. Living with me must be like living on a roller coaster. Life has so many twists, turns and surprises, it doesn't seem fair to be on this fantastic planet and not acknowledge and respectfully enjoy all the gifts readily available to our senses. A vast array of incredible music has been present in my thoughts as far back as my memory will span. Swirling melodies running the gamut from full orchestras to voices singing in languages I am not privy to. I have always wished for a way to plug into my brain and record the fresh and intricate sounds that my being has created without provocation. I am grateful and blessed to have the ability to write lyrics and music readily. My spirit becomes the music and I intuitively sing words on a whim. My stage presence is strong and deliberate and performing is natural to me. I am constantly blown away by the incredibly talented artists that I have had the pleasure of sharing stage and studio with throughout the years. there is always something new to learn. At times my life has been quite humbling so I try to hold a healthy respect for others and the struggles they experience in their walk of life. I like to believe that I've navigated my life with compassion and empathy for my fellow human beings and all creatures great and small. I still believe we should not be quick to judgment and I can sense readily when I am being measured, and it still makes me uncomfortable. Teach by example. I would love to eat and drink my way around the world and savor delicacies that I've yet to discover. There isn't enough time in this life to see, learn and experience all that I long for. Raising my two children has been the most important and fulfilling undertaking of my life and I thank them both for a journey so rich in laughter, pride and love. To share my heart with my music is not only a pleasure for me but my gift to Gaia and my gift to those who take the time to listen.........Keep peace in your heart and love in your actions.......Gaye Lee---------------------------------------------------------
