My name is Alex Mahan otherwise known as Assylum. I'm 20, and i live in Santa Rosa, CA. I have been making music for about 6 years..and started listening to underground hip-hop around the seventh grade..The first artists i worked with were Abadawn (A local emcee) and Explicit (an emcee from Maryland) we three collabed and created a few important compilations. Once Distance began making it difficult continue working togther, we spilt up and started working alone. In 2005, the Nomadic Prophets were created. Consisting of Reuben Lopez, Matt Wade, (otherwise known as Adept, and Abreact), and myself. From then on we began the making of "CATAPILLAR STAGE 1" & CATAPILLAR STAGE DUECE".
