music, swing dancing, imitating the old-world (i like to have tea and crumpets and sit down with a good book :0)...being awesome...?
hmm...i think as far as famous people go i'm content with my naive impressions of them being the great people i associate with their public faces and characters. if that makes sense. i think antonio banderas seems like a nice guy to sit down with at starbucks and have a chat over hot grande quad americanos. i think teddy roosevelt would be awesome to meet. he's my hero. one time a british diplomat warned his colleagues "you must always remember that the president is about six." hahaha :0) oh and we can't forget fitzwilliam darcy, of pride and prejudice. we're getting married in a couple of years, didn't you know? haha i just really love that character. he's da bomb. :0)and let's not forget Audrey... width="425" height="350" ..
i like lots of swing/jazz stuff...and i like to listen to christian bands even if a lot of secular ones tend to be better :0) i'm actually not too picky when it comes to music--i enjoy stuff from pretty much every genre.
i'm a chick-flick fan. give me a sappy, over-used, romantic comedy plot and i'm happy :0) but i also like more meaty stuff; i love the last samurai and gladiator and stuff like that...i'm amenable to most stuff but i have a hard time with horror or the kind of suspense that involves torture or whatever...for example, i think i would pass out if i ever had to see saw.
i don't watch much tv...mostly history channel or hgtv or travel channel. so sue me. i prefer movies.
the wheel of time is my favorite fantasy series; i also really like jasper fforde's thursday next series, and elizabeth peters' amelia peabody mysteries. i also really liked the book thief, one of those treasures you pick up at costco on whim and end up loving...
teddy roosevelt...i'm not even kidding he's so cool. and a lot of my close friends, for various reasons.
